International (HTI)

HTI offers specialized services in the areas of water resources engineering and management. Our principal engineer, Dr. Biswajit Mukhopadhyay’s professional career has spanned over three decades working for several reputed national and international engineering firms.

His project experience straddles various states in the United States and beyond its boundaries stretching from China to Chile and Alaska to Auckland. Dr. Mukhopadhyay proficiently uses a variety of modern industry-standard state-of-the-art software to address the needs of pressing and challenging hydrologic and hydraulic engineering projects.

Dr. Mukhopadhyay has served in leadership roles on projects supported by major multilateral development institutions, including the World Bank and the Asian Development Bank, as well as by numerous U.S. federal, state, and local agencies. These include the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, various river authorities and flood control districts, and major municipalities.

Dr. Mukhopadhyay has authored two comprehensive, contemporaneous, and authoritative texts titled Applied Hydrology and Open Channel Hydraulics and also authored over 50 technical articles published in peer-reviewed, first-class international journals. Currently, he is preparing his third title – Fluvial Hydraulics: Sediment Transport and Geomorphology.
